Adelaide Cioni’s work moves at the intersection of textile, painting, and performance. The constant elements at the core of her practice are drawing, the absence of narration, and a feminist perspective. Over the past year, she has been connecting her work to music and dance in a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach.

For the past three years, 91530 Le Marais and the artist have been jointly exploring the possibilities of the hemp cultivated by the farm. The exhibition Teatro Mobile is the result of this encounter between material and abstraction.

Hemp becomes both a set and a stage in an immersive installation where the textile is transformed into a theatrical space. True to her desire to incorporate theatre into art, Adelaide Cioni invites visitors to play; to immerse themselves in a vibrant visual universe.

Her works evoke growth - like sprouts emerging from the earth - while also revealing elementary, universal geometric forms. Solar circles, horizon lines, petal-like triangles: her motifs, imbued with ancient memory, traverse cultures andcenturies. They resonate within each of us, like a shared language, a rhythmic decorative code that “points toward infinity and nature.”

With Teatro Mobile, Cioni composes a choral work in which each form, though simple, vibrates with the others. A sensitive exploration of collective memory, of belonging to the living, where art becomes a space of play, of observation and of listening.‍
